Occupational Safety and Health Specialist
In this role you will...
- Conduct health and safety surveys and inspections at EOUSA and USAO facilities to ensure compliance with established safety standards.
- Draft detailed evaluations and recommendations from inspections and revise based on DOJ component officer feedback.
- Assist with the development and implementation of agency-wide occupational health and safety policies.
- Ensure all materials meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and DOJ requirements.
- Serve as the Office of Record for all work-related injury and illness documentation for EOUSA and USAOs.
Handle approximately 1,200 phone inquiries, 600 email inquiries, and 95 reportable injury cases annually.

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $85,000- $110,000. Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary / hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
