Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine WA

Overview:
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to fill locum positions in general medicine settings throughout WA. In this role, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, provide evidence-based care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner registration and licensing in Western Australia
• Proven experience in general medicine or related clinical settings
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various clinical environments
• Competency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, BLS, or other relevant fields
• Experience working in rural or underserved communities
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote care modalities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner specialization
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in general medicine or primary care
• Current WA Medical Board registration and compliance with state regulations
