Pay: $20.26 - $26.34/hour. Salary is based on the applicant's relevant experience.
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to perform essential clinical and administrative duties that support our patient-care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist providers or nurses in delivering patient care under their guidance.
- Conduct basic clinical tasks and specimen collections. Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions, accurately document care provided.
- Maintain medical equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, troubleshooting, and keeping examination areas organized.
- Handle various administrative duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Use critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- Minimum Experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
- BLS certification must be obtained through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and be valid before the start date.
