We’re partnering with a respected commercial general contractor in the Chicago area that specializes in healthcare and complex occupied renovations. They’re growing and looking for a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager who thrives in fast-moving environments and takes pride in delivering clean, safe, high-quality projects.

Healthcare experience is a plus, but strong commercial construction experience is absolutely welcome.

What you’ll work on

Hospitals, medical office buildings, clinics, surgery centers

Occupied renovations and phased construction

Interior build-outs, expansions, and ground-up projects

Projects where planning and coordination matter as much as speed

What you’ll do

Manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractors

Lead RFIs, submittals, and document control

Coordinate with owners, field teams, and design partners

Support site leadership and keep projects moving forward

Ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction at every step

What we’re looking for

2+ years (APM) or 5+ years (PM) commercial construction experience

Experience with a general contractor or construction manager

Comfortable running meetings and solving problems in real time

Strong knowledge of project documentation and cost control

Healthcare or occupied renovation experience is a plus, not required

Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools is helpful
