Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Healthcare Construction Manager in Los Angeles, CA .
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Oversees construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
Provides direction to Contractor regarding field activities.
Creates and reviews Requests for Information and Change Orders.
Verifies that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
Provides technical support to Project Managers.
Assists in change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
Reviews and manages the progress of contractors' construction schedules.
Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
Reports on the status of projects to Project Manager, Program Manager and Client
Attend client program meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' experience.
Must possess OSHPD/HCAI experience.
Must have experience with medium to large healthcare project.
Strong written and verbal communications skills
OSHPD 1 and OSHPD 3 project experience is a must.
Must be able to interface with client and maintain the relationship while managing the project.
Excellent communication skills is a must.
Manage and assign staff on the project.
Design-Build experience is a plus
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $140,000.00 - $185,000.00.
