The IT Finance Manager is responsible for leading the financial planning, governance, analysis, reporting, vendor and contract financial management, and investment oversight functions across the Information Technology organization. Serving as the primary liaison between IT, Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders, this role ensures technology investments are aligned with strategic priorities, financially optimized, and governed effectively throughout their lifecycle.
In addition to providing financial leadership, the IT Finance Manager leads and develops a team of IT finance, procurement and vendor management professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service. The role is accountable for building organizational capabilities in financial planning, technology cost management, vendor management and governance, and investment analysis while enabling the team to deliver accurate insights, sound financial stewardship, and effective support for IT's strategic objectives.
The successful candidate combines strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of IT operations, technology portfolios, software licensing, and enterprise governance practices, while demonstrating exceptional communication, collaboration, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
