The Opportunity:
This is a hands-on operations role for a curious, organized problem-solver who wants to learn how a healthcare organization actually runs—and help make it better. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams on special projects that improve workflows, implement systems, and raise the standard of day-to-day execution.
What You’ll Do:
Support implementation and optimization of operational systems (scheduling, patient flow, communications, documentation, reporting).
Map workflows (front desk, clinical, billing/authorizations, lab, patient communications), identify bottlenecks, and help implement fixes.
Build simple operational dashboards and trackers (KPIs, action items, turnaround times, training completion, quality checks).
Coordinate special projects such as new service rollouts, vendor/process changes, and patient experience improvements.
Draft SOPs, checklists, and training materials to standardize execution across teams.
Partner with clinical and administrative leads to improve consistency, hospitality, and patient satisfaction.
Support leadership with research, planning, meeting notes, follow-ups, and project management.
Who You Are:
High ownership: you take initiative, follow through, and communicate early when something is stuck.
Process-minded: you like turning messy reality into clear workflows, checklists, and systems.
Analytical enough to work with metrics in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and tell the story with data.
Professional communicator—clear, prompt, and respectful with patients and teammates.
Comfortable learning new tools quickly (EHR/EMR, scheduling platforms, task trackers).
Interest in healthcare operations, administration, entrepreneurship, or service delivery.
Nice-to-Have: (Not Required)
Experience in a clinic, hospital, or customer-facing operations environment.
Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems or healthcare admin processes.
Growth Path:
Altheda invests in internal growth. High performers can progress into roles such as Healthcare Operations Coordinator, Quality & Efficiency Analyst, Supervising Trainer Program leadership responsibilities, or longer-term operations/administration leadership positions as the organization scales.
Compensation:
$20–$24/hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill level.
Part-time and full-time structures available.
