Senior Living Operations Specialist

Wage Range: $90,000-100,000

We are seeking an Operations Specialist. The Operations Specialist delivers quality outcomes through operational coverage at the community level when there is a vacancy in an Executive Director position.
This position requires being on call on evenings and/or weekends to serve the community’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with the Jaybird Senior Living regional team.
• Identify and help resolve operational and/or regulatory issues within the community.
• Provide support to community leaders by focusing on overall operations, resident and employee satisfaction, occupancy, marketing and sales, staffing, training, and financial performance.
• Support marketing and sales initiatives to increase occupancy and generate revenue.
• Adhere to community budgets, monitor results, and be accountable for financial performance.
• Assist in investigating any vulnerable adult complaints and state-reportable occurrences.
• Monitors the implementation of current training, policies, and procedures, which reflect adherence to corporate and external regulatory and state guidelines.
• Maintains effective communication between management team members and communities.
• Uphold confidentiality and Health Insurance and Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
• Participate in regularly scheduled marketing, financial, and leadership phone calls.
• Assist with scheduling and shift coverage.
• Frequent overnight travel and work flexible schedules.
• Immediate response to emergent situations required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.
  A.) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive.
• Two to four years’ experience managing senior living communities.
