Traveling Heavy Civil Equipment Mechanic

Regional Travel | Union Position

A well-established heavy civil contractor in Pittsburgh is looking to add a Traveling Equipment Mechanic to support their fleet across regional job sites.

This is a union position offering competitive hourly pay (up to approximately $40/hour depending on experience) with all travel expenses covered.

If you’re experienced working on heavy civil equipment and enjoy being hands-on in the field, this is a strong long-term opportunity with a stable contractor.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of heavy civil equipment

  • Excavators, dozers, loaders, cranes, graders, rollers, and support equipment

  • Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting in the field

  • Coordinating with field teams to minimize downtime

What’s Offered:
