Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?
Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?
Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Assembles, disassembles, and modifies aerospace vehicle systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes.
Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repairs faulty components.
Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components.
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance for repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results.
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
Performs maintenance (MX) on MH-139 aircraft.
Supports flightline operations and scheduled maintenance activities.
Troubleshoots aircraft systems.
Applies full avionics experience for aircraft system troubleshooting.
Uses precision tools and equipment for system configuration and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Helicopter maintenance experience for mechanics is required.
Full avionics experience for technicians is required.
Ability to lift, climb stairs, and stand for long periods is required.
Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned.
Preferred: USAF experience with IMDS and 781 series forms.
Preferred: Prior military experience.
Experience with aerospace vehicle assembly, disassembly, and modification.
