Job Title: Shop Helper
Job Description
Join our team as a Shop Helper in a role that supports production through deburring, sandblasting, and minor surface preparation. This hands-on position is perfect for individuals who are comfortable working with water and blasting machines and who don't mind getting a bit dirty when needed.
1st shift - 6am to 4:30pm
4/19 schedule - Monday to Thursday - OT on Friday
$19.50/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform deburring and sandblasting on parts.
- Assist with minor prep work prior to blasting.
- Operate water and sandblasting machines.
- Use standard sandblasting, hand, and power tools.
- Support general production activities as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Essential Skills
- Basic production or manufacturing experience.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Willingness to perform hands-on work.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work onsite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior sandblasting or deburring experience is a plus but not required.
- Blueprint reading and machine operation experience (1-2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and writing English (necessary for blueprint reading).
- Basic knowledge of working with small parts and assemblies.
- ITAR compliance.

Work Environment
Work in a great, small environment with approximately 40 production employees. The job requires frequent sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and handling/grasping of materials in a manufacturing setting. Occasionally, the role may require kneeling, bending, or squatting. Finger dexterity is necessary, along with good eyesight for using a magnifying glass and handling small parts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
