Secondary History Teacher
Job Summary
At Mesorah High School for Girls, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary History Teacher with conservative values to join our team of educators. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students, providing a high-quality education that prepares them for success in their future endeavors. Responsibilities
Teach World Civilizations to students in grades 9 and 10, and U.S. History to students in grades 11 and 12, afternoons M-Th
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth
Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-wide initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in History or related field (or equivalent)
2+ years of experience teaching secondary students
Strong understanding of History curriculum and educational standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning styles
Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
