History Department Head or Full-Time History Teacher ($80,000-$100,000)
TABC seeks a full-time history department head or experienced history teacher to teach World, American, and Jewish history.
Qualifications include:
An advanced degree (Master’s in history or education)
Experience with differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs and individual learning plans
Familiarity with backward design in lesson planning
Additional Responsibilities and qualifications for department head candidates:
Integrate traditional teaching methods with modern pedagogy to support a comprehensive and meaningful curriculum across all grades
Lead and inspire a team of history educators, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented department culture
Oversee departmental operations and ensure alignment with TABC’s educational vision
Collaborate with administration and other department chairs on curriculum development, mentorship, and policy
