Overview
Experienced Mechanical Build professional needed to support the installation and modification of automated mechanical systems. This role provides hands-on support to mechanical builders during installs and startups.
Responsibilities
Support mechanical builders during automation equipment installation
Assist with daily task coordination and build sequencing
Support mechanical layout, alignment, and system installation
Reinforce safety, quality, and build standards on-site
Support training reinforcement for mechanical build teams
Identify and escalate build issues, delays, or quality concerns
Collaborate with engineering, electrical, and integration teams
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to build processes
Qualifications
3+ years as a Senior Machine Builder, Machine Builder, Toolmaker
Strong hands-on mechanical assembly and automation build background
Experience with automated assembly or manufacturing systems
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Journeyman’s card or technical certification preferred
Prior lead installer or site support experience a plus
