Job description

Job Description

Legatus, a membership organization for Catholic CEOs, is seeking a part-time Chapter Administrator for its Wichita Chapter. The Chapter Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of a local Legatus Chapter. Working under the direction of the Regional Vice President and in collaboration with the local Chapter Officers, the Chapter Administrator oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of monthly Chapter events that inspire, connect, and form Catholic business leaders.

This position blends organizational excellence, event coordination, and member engagement. The Chapter Administrator is both a behind-the-scenes organizer and a front-line ambassador, ensuring every Chapter gathering is meaningful, seamless, and aligned with the mission of Legatus.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions and best-practice workshops provided by the national office.
• Coordinate, plan, and implement monthly Chapter events with attention to detail and mission alignment.
• Manage all event logistics, including venue selection and contracts, catering/menu planning, speaker invitations and travel, and on-site execution.
• Partner with the Program Chair to develop high-quality monthly events that are spiritually enriching and professionally executed.
• Promote and market events to Chapter members to encourage engagement and attendance.
• Attend all monthly Chapter events and provide on-site coordination and support.
• Collaborate with the Chapter President and Membership Chair on membership growth, onboarding, and renewals.
• Support Chapter Officers in fulfilling their respective roles and responsibilities.
• Attend monthly Chapter Officers meetings and provide updates and administrative support.
• Complete and submit monthly event and activity reports to the national office.
• Communicate regularly with the Regional Vice President on Chapter progress, challenges, and needs.
• Serve as the liaison between the national office and the local Chapter, ensuring consistency in mission, visual brand and process.
• Comply with and uphold all Legatus national policies and procedures.
• Handle all Chapter information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Build relationships with Chapter members that foster trust, belonging, and commitment to the Legatus mission.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in event planning, administration, or program coordination.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with digital communication tools like Canva.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams and leaders.
• Professional demeanor and attention to detail.
• Understand and adhere to tenets of the Catholic faith and the mission of Legatus.

Faith Requirements

Because Legatus is a Catholic apostolate, and the Chapter Administrator role requires a deep understanding of and adherence to the Catholic Church and its teachings, the Chapter Administrator must be a practicing Catholic who embraces and lives in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church, including its moral and social doctrines. Employees serve as ambassadors of the Legatus mission and are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with Catholic values in both their professional and personal lives.

Position Details

• Reports to: Regional Vice President
• Location: Local- typically local to the Chapter
• Part-Time Position | Local Monthly Travel Required
• Start Date: Flexible, but soon

Why Join Us?

In this role, your work will directly support the growth and effectiveness of an offering that strengthens Catholic leaders in community and mission. At Legatus, you'll contribute to both the measurable and the meaningful-helping shape initiatives that drive organizational success while upholding a mission rooted in faith, leadership, and transformation. If you enjoy balancing data with vision, process with purpose, and execution with impact, this role is a strong fit.
