You will benefit from a schedule designed to support work-life balance, along with leadership that values input from the team. Regular doctor, staff, and management meetings help ensure concerns are addressed and improvements are made thoughtfully. You will work alongside a fully staffed team of certified technicians, skilled assistants, customer service representatives, and kennel staff, allowing everyone to focus on doing their job well. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered, including health and dental insurance, continuing education support, professional dues, and liability coverage.

You will assist with essential HR functionsincluding hiring, training, and performance managementwhile ensuring compliance with policies that support a safe and efficient hospital environment. In this role, you act as a visible leader, balancing administrative tasks with client relations and team support.

Your impact will include:

  • Conflict Resolution: You will proactively address and work to resolve employee conflict and behavioral issues, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Financial Management: You will manage the financial needs of the hospital by maintaining accurate balances through the collection of client transactions, strict cash/credit handling procedures, and managing opening/closing protocols.
  • Client Experience: You will maintain a positive attitude in all interactions, proactively demonstrating empathy towards clients and treating pets with compassion and respect.
  • Systems & Records: You will utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records accurately and communicate effectively with clients and teammates.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 13 years of leadership or supervisory experience is required (veterinary or healthcare experience is preferred).
  • Excellent communication and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
