As Hospital Manager, you will partner closely with our veterinary leadership team to shape the future of the practice. You'll have the autonomy to lead day-to-day operations, develop team members, improve processes, and drive business success while fostering a positive and collaborative culture.

If you're energized by mentoring others, solving problems, improving efficiency, and helping a veterinary hospital reach its full potential, we'd love to meet you.

At Lake Olympia Animal Hospital, we believe that great medicine starts with great people. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care while maintaining a supportive, respectful, and enjoyable workplace where employees can grow professionally and personally.

As part of Lakefield Veterinary Group, you'll enjoy the benefits and resources of a growing national organization while maintaining the close-knit culture and community relationships that make our hospital unique.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing veterinary support team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, learning, and exceptional client service
  • Partner with veterinarians and regional leadership to achieve hospital goals
  • Drive financial performance through strategic planning, budgeting, and operational excellence
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to help them reach their full potential
  • Lead recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Analyze hospital performance metrics and implement solutions that support growth and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with employment, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee facility operations, equipment maintenance, scheduling, and workflow optimization
  • Serve as a trusted leader and resource for the entire hospital team

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in veterinary practice management, healthcare administration, or a related operational leadership role
  • Proven success managing teams, budgets, and day-to-day business operations
  • Experience coaching and developing employees in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and drive results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-doctor veterinary hospital leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Experience with veterinary practice management software and KPI reporting

The Ideal Candidate:

You are a confident, approachable leader who enjoys building relationships and developing people. You balance empathy with accountability, communicate effectively at all levels, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You are comfortable making decisions, solving challenges, and leading change while keeping the needs of patients, clients, and team members at the forefront.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary starting at $70,000+ based on experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Disability insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid time off
  • Uniform allowance
  • Professional development support
  • License reimbursement

Our culture is built on five core values that guide us in the way we work:

  • Respect

  • Do the right thing
  • Wow service
  • Fun

We expect all team members to actively demonstrate these values in their daily work and interactions.
