Greet and screen all visitors, patients, and staff entering the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment. Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to health screening protocols, including temperature checks and symptom assessments as required. Provide customer service to everyone entering the location by answering questions and providing directions as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client protocols. Document screening results and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with privacy and confidentiality requirements. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or client representatives regarding any security-related concerns or incidents. Remain alert to unusual activity and report security-related observations to the appropriate personnel. Assist with crowd control and / or line management during peak entry times to support orderly access to the location. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Applicants may be required to provide proof of vaccination as required by the hospital client. Applicants may be required to work in or around a hospital morgue. Applicants may be required to restrain individuals as required by the hospital client. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
