Restoration Technician

Position Summary :
This position includes responsibility for emergency water, fire, mold restoration, and carpet cleaning services in both residential and commercial structures. Restoration duties involve one or more of the following : Drying, carpet cleaning, carpet & pad removal, structural drying, etc. The selected candidate will use advanced techniques with state-of-the-art science and equipment to clean-rejuvenate and restore properties.
We are looking for thoughtful, well-rounded restoration technicians to join ONEWAY's Renew Crew-ready team. If you feel like you are the right one for us, you will love helping people, take great pride in your work, and think of restoration as more than just a job. Responsibilities (paid training included) :
- Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, following IICRC standards.
- Set dehumidifiers, fans, air scrubbers, and other equipment at the worksite, ensuring proper setup and removal.
- Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation.
- Perform initial loss inspection.
- Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc., and perform general demolition after a loss.
- Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
- Participate in our 24-hour on-call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on-call schedule.
- Drive company vehicles
- Other duties as assigned by skill level growth
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comply with all ONEWAY policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
- Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections operate a motor vehicle per ONEWAY's vehicle policy
