Registered Nurse - Telemetry Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. This role is within an acute care facility, providing specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telemetry principles and experience in managing patients with various cardiac conditions. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and responding to any changes in their condition. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the highest quality of patient care. The daily flow involves continuous monitoring, documentation, and communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Respond to changes in patients' conditions and initiate appropriate interventions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document patient care accurately and completely in the electronic health record. Educate patients and families about their cardiac conditions and treatment plans. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent experience (within the last 3 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level. Preferred Qualifications EPIC experience. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Shift Details Shift Type: Night Shift Duration: 12 hours Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Days per Week: 3 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 2026-03-06 End Date: 2026-05-30 Call Requirements: Not specified.
