  • Manage and direct contract negotiations and compliance with the commercial payer community, including rate negotiations and new revenue generation
  • Lead development of continuum of care including comprehensive outpatient services and community-based programs
  • Serve as final authority for resolution of staff performance concerns and performance improvement activities
  • Chair and attend periodic meetings with the governing body, medical staff, executive management team, and other hospital departments
  • Maintain an effective survey readiness plan including a comprehensive auditing programme and corrective action processes
  • Ensure adherence to the compliance programme including timely follow-up of reported issues, staff training, and proactive auditing
  • Lead accurate Governing Board reporting and quarterly calls
  • Ensure prompt, thorough follow-up of patient safety issues including system-level corrections and proactive assessment of high-risk areas
  • Provide appropriate leadership and resources to support QAPI activities

REQUIREMENTS
