Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Tennessee-licensed Nurse Practitioners for a locum tenens opportunity in a community hospital setting within Tennessee. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient hospitalist coverage, managing a high patient volume, and collaborating with hospital teams to deliver quality care.

Schedule Details
Day and night shifts available, with a typical schedule of 7a-5p, 7a-7p, and 7p-7a, including weekend rotations. Specific shift details to be confirmed during the interview process.

Clinical Scope

• Inpatient hospitalist care for adult patients
• Management of acute medical conditions, including stabilization and disposition
• Collaboration with hospital staff, including physicians, nurses, and ancillary teams
• Documentation within the hospital’s EMR system
• Performing procedures as required, with a patient volume of approximately 93 encounters per day

Practice Environment
This opportunity is based in a community hospital in Tennessee, supporting a busy inpatient service with a high patient volume. Providers will work within a structured hospitalist team, utilizing electronic medical records to deliver efficient inpatient care.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license
• Active Tennessee DEA license with Tennessee address and prescriptive authority
• Certification through AANP or ANCC
• ACLS and PALS certification
• Documentation of MMR and Varicella vaccines or immunity titers
• Two-step TB test within the past 12 months, with chest X-ray if positive
• Case logs for the past 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient hospitalist experience (new graduates may be considered based on site needs)
