This job is open to recent graduates and individuals who have graduated from an accredited educational institute or certificate program within the last 2 years or 6 years for veterans.

Eligible recent graduates from qualifying educational institutions who have graduated within the past two years, from a qualifying educational institution or certificate program. Industry Operations Investigator (IOI) positions are with the Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) in the Office of Field Operations (FO) Nationwide. IOI positions are mission critical positions that require the ability to pay close attention to details.

IOIs conduct inspections / investigations of the firearms & explosives industries, including dealers, importers, and providing support to Criminal Investigators (Special Agent) on criminal investigations. If selected for this position, you will be responsible for performing the following duties :

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as training and experience progresses.

Specialized Experience : You must have at least one year of experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal Service that included experience analyzing records, documents, or reports and
