Job description
Ondus on the Waterfront is looking for an attentive, engaging, and service-oriented Experienced Host to join our restaurant team! As Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for seating arriving guests promptly and process cashier transactions accurately and promptly. Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Has a friendly, personable style with guests. Anticipates customer needs before they ask
  • Complies with all standards regarding greeting and seating of guests, such as staying within two feet of guests while walking to the table; pulling out chairs for guests, handing guests an open menu, introducing the server and upselling any specials
  • Has full knowledge of and promotes menu, facilities and services, hours of operation and promotional programs

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Some experience with restaurant computer systems useful
  • Experience handling cash and credit card procedures
  • Basic Math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
