We're looking for a reliable, hands-on In-House Maintenance Technician to join our team. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our facility, kitchen, and equipment running smoothly — from general repairs and plumbing to commercial kitchen equipment like TurboChef ovens, freezers/refrigeration units, and coffee machines.
No specific certification on our equipment is required — we provide full training on TurboChef ovens, refrigeration systems, and coffee/beverage equipment. What matters most is a strong general maintenance/handyman background and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs (plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, power washing etc.)
• Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment including TurboChef ovens, freezers, refrigerators, and coffee machines
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and building systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns
• Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for specialized repairs when needed
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and repair records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
• Assist with setup/breakdown for facility needs as required
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or similar role
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing repair (leaks, clogs, fixtures, etc.)
• Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment
• Experience with commercial kitchen or refrigeration equipment is a plus, but not required — training provided
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time/priorities
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods)
• Valid driver's license
