Job Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for affordable housing construction projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to determine project scope and timelines.
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in value engineering and suggest cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator - Affordable Housing Construction should have:
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
