The Opportunity:We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team and support the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is passionate about improving workplace culture, ensuring compliance, and optimizing HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations and HR inquiries
Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Maintain and update HRIS, personnel files, and benefit records
Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and troubleshooting
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Partner with department managers to support performance reviews, training, and development
Ensure compliance with federal and Massachusetts employment laws
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs
Assist with payroll processing, attendance management and timekeeping systems.
Employee conflict resolution management.
Company policy and rule compliance management.
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Strong knowledge of Massachusetts and federal labor laws
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
Legal industry experience is a plus
