Shipping Coordinator : Rockford, Illinois
Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Shipping Coordinators to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will ensure all shipping operations run smoothly, prepare materials for safe transport, optimize load configurations, and help deliver products to customers on time. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and keeping operations moving efficiently.
Responsibilities of the Shipping Coordinator :
- Coordinate shipping activities and prepare materials for shipment.
- Follow schedules to ensure on-time delivery and accurate order fulfillment.
- Read, interpret, and process work orders, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
- Attach labels and tags to guarantee accuracy of shipments.
- Measure and mark shipping materials to construct boxes, crates, or skids that protect products during transit.
- Inventory and document products for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Learn and apply company materials and guidelines to optimize shipping operations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support the warehouse and shipping teams.
Shipping Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications :
Pay for Shipping Coordinator : $16 / hour.
Shipping Coordinator Benefits :
Type : 1st Shift, Full-time.
Schedule : Monday – Friday from 7 : 00am – 3 : 00pm.
