Human Resources Coordinator
Full time, 12-month position effective September 1, 2026. Reports to: Director of Human Resources. Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 depending on experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of employment practices and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws preferred. Experience in a public school district preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and HR information systems preferred. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, administrators, and the public. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may deem acceptable and appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Human Resources.
- Maintain confidential employee personnel files and Human Resources records in accordance with district policies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate, manage and oversee daily and permanent building substitutes.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting vacancies, communicating with candidates, and assisting with onboarding.
- Process employment-related documentation, including new hires, transfers, leaves of absence, column changes, resignations, and retirements.
- Coordinate and manage the teacher stipend process.
- Assist with employee certification, licensure, and compliance tracking.
- Maintain HR databases and generate reports as required.
- Coordinate office communications and maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
