About the Role :

As a Mobile Maintenance & HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HVAC and general maintenance services across approximately 15 client sites within the greater Salt Lake City area. This role requires a skilled and reliable technician to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems, equipment, and grounds. You will be a key member of the team, ensuring a comfortable and functional environment for our client's operations. This is a Monday-Friday position working from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM. A company-issued van, tools, iPad, and iPhone will be provided.

What You'll Do :

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities. This includes HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance tasks.

Provide HVAC maintenance and repairs, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and component replacement. Chiller maintenance experience is preferred.

Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs, managing and tracking completion.

Support energy management initiatives by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.

Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information with clients, co-workers, and supervisors. Respond to common inquiries or complaints.

Apply established procedures to solve straightforward maintenance issues, working under guidance and supervision.

Contribute to clearly defined tasks and processes, delivering output within established guidelines.

Deliver your individual contributions by following defined procedures and processes.

Travel to multiple sites within the greater Salt Lake City area.

What You'll Need :

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

EPA Universal Certification is required.

Valid Driver's License required.

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders, and the ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

Excellent communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
