Job Posting Analysis Job Title Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse Job Summary Registered Nurse needed for the ICU unit. Responsibilities include providing care for critically ill patients in the CCU/ACU, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Must be proficient in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Perform IV starts and manage central lines. Operate and maintain ventilators. Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias. Document patient care accurately and completely in the EPIC system. Participate in rapid response teams. Adhere to infection prevention and isolation precautions. Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive drips. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of ICU experience. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission (valid compact or state license). BLS certification (AHA only). ACLS certification (AHA only). NIHSS certification (AHA only). Proficiency in IV start. Experience with telemetry. Competency with ventilators. EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel nursing experience. Proficiency in EPIC documentation system.
