Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented MBSE Implementation Engineer with strong practical skills in Cameo (MagicDraw) and SysML modeling. This role bridges the gap between systems engineering concepts and formal digital implementation, translating engineering inputs into executable model-based artifacts.

The ideal candidate is an engineer comfortable with technical data, requirements, and architecture concepts, but not necessarily a senior systems architect — someone who thrives on structuring, organizing, and implementing design intent into the MBSE environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate system requirements, behaviors, and architectures into SysML models using Cameo / MagicDraw.
  • Implement and maintain traceability between requirements (DOORS, Jama, etc.) and MBSE models.
  • Support systems engineering teams by structuring models for consistency, reusability, and scalability.
  • Integrate modeling outputs with other digital engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Simulink, Teamcenter).
  • Participate in system design reviews and provide visualizations or model exports as needed.
  • Maintain and update model libraries, profiles, and frameworks under guidance from senior system architects.
  • Support the development of interface definitions, behavior diagrams, and architecture decompositions.

Qualifications

Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience with Cameo / MagicDraw or equivalent SysML modeling tools.
  • Working knowledge of requirements management (DOORS, Jama, or equivalent).
  • Understanding of systems engineering fundamentals (requirements, interfaces, architecture).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    • Preferred :

  • Experience supporting Digital Engineering initiatives or MBSE frameworks (DoDAF, UAF, or SysML v2).
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation inside Cameo (e.g., Cameo API, JavaScript, Groovy).
  • Experience with defense or aerospace system development environments.

    • Soft Skills

  • Highly organized and methodical in capturing and linking data.
  • Able to communicate effectively with both senior engineers and cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Comfortable working under direction but capable of independent problem solving.
