On Q Property Management is looking for a full-time Corporate Counsel to join our team in Gilbert, AZ!
We are a fast-growing property management company focused on customer service, communication, and technology. The role provides comprehensive legal oversight for property management, real estate, and corporate operations, ensuring compliance and effective risk management while supporting strategic transactions and business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the companys primary legal advisor on all property management, real estate, and corporate matters.
- Manage disputes, including landlord / tenant issues, contract claims, and employment-related matters; oversee and direct outside counsel as needed.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including leases, vendor agreements, property management agreements, acquisitions, and dispositions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting property management, housing, real estate, and employment practices.
- Provide legal support for real estate transactions, including due diligence, financing, and risk assessment.
- Advise leadership and operational teams on landlord / tenant law, fair housing, evictions, and other property management issues.
- Develop and implement internal policies, compliance programs, and risk management strategies to minimize legal exposure.
- Support corporate governance, maintain company records, and provide training on compliance and legal best practices.
- Other duties as assigned
