Position : Security Officer

Facility : Mease Countryside Hospital

The Security Officer performs general safety & security duties including :

  • Patrol and detection services
  • Assisting customers
  • Response and intervention responsibilities
  • Provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety
  • Completes communication and documentation tools
  • Conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner
  • Completes other duties as assigned
  • Required specific skills also includes life safety and weapons screening techniques.

    • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Certifications and Licensures
  • Driver's License (State of Florida)
  • IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year
  • Security D - Within 90 days
  • Preferred : FDLE (Law Enforcement)

    • Education

  • High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred : Associate's in Related Field

    • Experience

  • 1 year Customer Service
  • Preferred : 2 years Security
  • Preferred : 1 year Healthcare in related field
  • Preferred : 1 year in Hospital related field

    • Location : Safety Harbor, FL

    Status : Full Time

    Shift Hours : 1 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

    Weekend Work : Every
