ICMS is seeking a friendly and professional Full-Time Security Guard I to oversee a federal facility and can provide high-quality service, attention to detail, and understands the worth of exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have a confident personality and be equipped with excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Additional coverage may be necessary for other shifts during the week and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
The primary responsibilities of the position will include but not limited to :
- Greet visitors when they enter the building and guide them to their designated areas
- Process important queries and manage customer expectations in a polite and friendly manner
- Verify access badges
- Monitor building conditions; notify appropriate facilities / custodial personnel of issues
- Conduct evening tours to verify security of access / egress. Monitor parking areas and security cameras for anomalies or security issues
- Keep track of visitors and coordinate with onsite staff for escorting
- Answer telephones and monitor the security office
- Maintain control of all keys. This includes logging the keys in and out
- Provide detailed log report at the end of each shift. Must be filled in as instructed and no details missed
- Maintain a clean and pleasant environment
- May be required to lift to 25 lbs.
Requirements :
Night Shift : Monday-Friday, 12 : 00am-8 : 00am
Pay Rate : $17.75 + Health & Welfare Benefits
