Join our team as an intern and gain real-world experience working alongside architects, engineers, and industry professionals. As a Commissioning Intern, you will learn how we ensure that HVAC / Hydronic and building automation systems are installed and perform as designed by the Engineer.

Working with the guidance of Senior Commissioning Engineers and Agents you will learn how to tackle the day-to-day challenges of a commissioning technician, learning first-hand how your testing and verification ensures the building is functioning correctly when the owner occupies the building.

Additionally, you will learn to read and interpret HVAC systems and controls, and proper reporting of various equipment. This position offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions while gaining technical expertise in the field.

Position Wage Range

The anticipated hourly wage for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Primary Qualifications

• Completion of 3+ years of a A&E related undergraduate program
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, Bluebeam
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with other team members
• A passion for client-focused design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a talent for balancing graceful oral and written communication between Cushing Terrell teams and our clients
