Position : RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel / Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery for a 13-week contract in Lewisville, Texas — earn up to ($1841 - $1938 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.

Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.

Achieve targets set for patient care and outcomes.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.

Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.

Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

Evaluate and implement best practices in labor and delivery care.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Support and mentor junior nursing staff as needed.

Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.

Experience / Qualifications

Current RN license in Texas with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.

Proven ability to monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.

Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.

Strong communication skills for patient and family education.

Experience in developing and implementing patient care plans.

Strong documentation skills for patient care activities.

Ability to engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

Experience mentoring or supporting junior nursing staff.
