  • Physician Coverage : 59 hours (Five 10-hour Shifts / One 9-hour Shift)

  • Physician Daily Coverage : 24 hours

    Job Responsibilities

  • Leadership : Provide strong leadership to the Emergency Department, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Clinical Oversight : Ensure high standards of clinical care are maintained and oversee the treatment of approximately 52,000 patients annually.
  • Operational Management : Manage the clinical operations of the Emergency Department and resource management to ensure optimal patient flow and care.
  • Quality Improvement : Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
  • Education and Training : Support the professional development of the medical team through ongoing education, training, and mentorship.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with hospital administration, other departments, and community partners to support the hospitals mission and strategic goals.
