We are looking for a talented individual to join the Meat Department Team. This individual should smile, greet, and be courteous to customers, work with management and all other associates to provide a high level of customer service, be punctual, work your schedule, conduct yourself at all times in a professional business manner, and assist in any way possible and as directed to provide for a clean and safe store environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Unload fresh, cured, and boxed meats and poultry from delivery truck and transports them to storage room with a hand truck
• Count and weigh incoming articles and compare results against invoice
• Examine meats in storage and rotate meats to avoid aging
• Stock merchandise in refrigerated and frozen meat cases
• Clean grinder, meat containers, and storage room with water hose and broom
• Take meat orders from customers

Requirements:

• Must demonstrate efficiency and delicacy with potentially hazardous equipment (slicers, heated wrapping stations, butcher knives, etc.).
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

This position is part-time with comparable pay.
