As a Wholesale Lending Account Executive, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships with brokers and sellers, effectively promoting our diverse mortgage loan products. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new business opportunities while strengthening connections with our existing partners. You’ll act as a vital link between our brokers/sellers and the loan operations team to ensure a seamless closing process for wholesale loans and correspondent loan purchases, all while adhering to company policies and complying with US state and federal regulations. The target compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $500,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential mortgage brokers and sellers to secure new business opportunities.
Develop and sustain strong relationships with brokers/sellers to ensure a steady flow of loan applications and purchases.
Educate brokers/sellers about our programs, pricing, and submission protocols.
Provide timely updates regarding company policies and procedures to brokers/sellers.
Support brokers/sellers during the loan submission process.
Train brokers/sellers on utilizing our online systems for loan submissions and related processes.
Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to guarantee timely loan closings.
Ensure compliance with deadlines for pre-disclosures, approval letters, and denial notices.
Maintain up-to-date contact information in the CRM system.
Protect customer confidential data in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Work closely with teams to ensure prompt loan purchases from sellers.
Effectively manage your loan pipeline to meet departmental objectives.
Provide outstanding customer service to brokers/sellers throughout the loan process.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated sales experience, specifically in developing and maintaining broker/seller relationships.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of state and federal lending regulations.
Familiarity with FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, USDA, and non-agency loan products.
Understanding of the intricacies of mortgage purchase transactions.
Knowledge of company policies and organizational structure.
Acquainted with underwriting guidelines and investor requirements.
Aptitude for quickly learning and retaining product and process information.
Skill in collaboratively resolving complex problems while exploring alternative solutions.
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is beneficial.
1 to 5 years of experience as a wholesale or correspondent account executive is preferred.
Experience in selling agency and non-agency loan products is preferred.
Prior sales experience in the mortgage industry is crucial.
