Job Details Key Responsibilities: Develop civil engineering designs for municipal engineering projects, residential developments, commercial site developments, street improvements, and utility infrastructure under the guidance of a Civil Engineer. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create and modify designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to ensure successful project execution. Prepare cost estimates, evaluate design options, and propose solutions to meet project goals. Assist in producing and reviewing technical reports, design documents, and plans in compliance with regulations. Contribute to project meetings and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Qualifications: Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required. 0-5+ years of civil engineering project design experience, focusing on residential development, commercial development, and municipal engineering projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software for civil engineering design and drafting. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate design alternatives and propose effective solutions. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of civil engineering principles related to utility infrastructure, grading, and roadway design. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines. A commitment to high-quality design and precision, ensuring all plans meet client expectations and regulatory standards.
