About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Medical Lab Technician in Englewood, Colorado, 80113!

Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have relevant state licensure Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Proficient in phlebotomy Description: This is a travel position for a Medical Technologist. Shifts are from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, following a 7-on, 7-off rotation. The unit provides laboratory services and has a patient capacity of 406. The laboratory staff includes 18 laboratory assistants. Day shift consists of 1 supervisor and 3-4 laboratory assistants. Evening shift includes 1 coordinator and 2-3 laboratory assistants. Night shift has 2 laboratory assistants. Candidates without phlebotomy skills will not be considered for the role. Experience in specimen processing is preferred. Experience with specific laboratory equipment and software is a plus. Typical procedures performed include venipuncture and specimen processing. Candidates should have the ability to provide memorable experiences for patients. A positive, can-do attitude is essential for success in this fast-paced environment. This position is in a Level 1 trauma center.
