River Ridge Living Center is a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Amsterdam, NY. We are currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).

Available Shifts: (6a-2p, 2p-10p, and 10p-6a)

RESPONSIBILITIES

LPN Job Duties:

· Vital signs: Monitoring and recording the patient's vital signs, such as blood pressure

· Medication: Administering medication orally or intravenously, as needed.

· Wound care: Changing wound dressings and performing primary wound care

· Patient records: Maintaining accurate patient records, including medical history, allergens, fluid and food intake, and output

· Communication: Communicating changes in patient health or behavior to nurses, doctors, and family members

· Care planning: Participating in patient care planning and developing individual nursing care plans

· Must chart record details of residents, including vitals and temperature

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid LPN license for NYS

Must be in good standing with the State Registry

Must work as part of a team
