A day in the lifeCNC Operators & Machinists
  • Set up and run CNC mills and/or lathes to produce close-tolerance components
  • Interpret engineering drawings and part blueprints to verify features and dimensions
  • Perform in-process inspections with precision measurement tools
  • Hit quality targets while keeping production moving efficiently
Grinders
  • Operate grinding equipment to achieve final dimensions and surface finishes on precision parts
  • Conduct basic inspections to confirm accuracy and finish
  • Maintain steady throughput with strong attention to detail
Prototype Apprentice
  • Assist with prototype builds and low-volume production work
  • Learn machining fundamentals, setups, and blueprint reading
  • Support engineers and senior machinists on complex components
  • Rotate through multiple processes to develop versatile hands-on skills
Shifts
  • First Shift: Day schedule
  • Second Shift: Afternoon/Evening schedule
