Delivery Truck Driver/ Truck Loader

TABER, the leading manufacturer of custom millwork, metalwork, and upholstery in Orange County, is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver/ Truck Loader to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be active and energetic, while assisting in the loading, unloading and delivery of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Locate and load all necessary millwork, metal, and upholstery items to be loaded on a truck
  • Wrap and secure finished products to avoid any damage during transportation
  • Read and interpret a set of shop drawings, sketches and handwritten notes
  • Read through delivery checklist or shipper to ensure all items loaded on truck
  • Transporting millwork, metal, and upholstery items over land to and from manufacturing plant to job sites throughout California
  • Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
  • Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
  • Inspecting Vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
  • Document and log work / rest periods

Salary: $20-$25/ hour
