CA Logistics Specialist
The Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in executing customer vehicle relocation service orders and managing all supporting business operations. This position involves handling customer order management and ensuring efficient communication through email and telephone with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts. The specialist maintains accurate data in each order tracked in the CRM system.
Responsibilities :
- Manage execution of customer orders, ensuring timely coordination and scheduling of vehicle pickups and deliveries, precisely following customer instructions.
- Link multiple orders for efficient execution and oversee additional services such as vehicle detailing, titling / registration, and vehicle placement into storage.
- Communicate promptly by email, telephone, and CRM with staff, independent contractors, and contacts, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Update CRM activities and notes promptly, maintaining accurate data after each communication.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and adherence to applicable DOT regulations and laws.
- Calculate and offer flat fees on orders and manage the storage facility by tracking vehicles in and out.
- Check vehicles in and out, review for damage and issues, take inventory of items, and move vehicles within the lot.
- Monitor inventory, ensuring vehicles are operational and communicating issues to headquarters.

Work Environment :
This position is on-site and provides an opportunity to work for a fast-growing fleet transport company. The environment is fast-paced, similar to an outside operations role, requiring comfort in communicating with independent contractors to assign orders and serve as their main point of contact. The company offers opportunities for growth, being women-owned and having 11 different departments.
Job Type & Location :
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
