Duties

• Deliver basic nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
• Collect patient information such as medical histories and current health concerns to assist in assessments.
• Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform wound care, including cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring for signs of infection.
• Conduct procedures such as administering injections and catheterizations within the LPN's scope of practice.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report any concerns to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and responses.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans to promote understanding and adherence.
• Assist with patient hygiene, grooming, mobility, and comfort.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe, clean environment for patients.

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in any U.S. state.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Experience with medical documentation and maintaining patient records.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
