Shifts:
A: Monday - Thursday 7AM - 5:30PM & Friday 7AM - 3:30PM (47 hour work week) $17.25/hr + OT Pay
or
B: Monday - Thursday 5:00PM - 5:30AM (47 hour work week) $18.98/hr + OT Pay
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) by loading programs, installing and adjusting tools, and setting machine coordinates.
- Production: Execute production plans efficiently, monitoring machine operation to detect malfunctions or material issues.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process and final checks using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning, keeping the work area safe and organized.
- Safety & Reporting: Follow all safety protocols and report any production issues, equipment malfunctions, or quality deviations to the supervisor promptly.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
- Blueprint/G-Code Interpretation: Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-Code/M-Code (CNC programming language).
- Measurement Proficiency: Expert use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Tooling Knowledge: Basic familiarity with various cutting tools, inserts, and fixture offsets.
- Machine Setup: Experience with tool setting, work offsets, and fixture installation.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to perform minor machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting to correct minor material or machine issues.
- Material Science: Basic understanding of common manufacturing materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, plastics) and how they machine.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar machine operation role.
- Technical Skills: Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
- Measurement: Proficient in using various precision measuring instruments.
- Physical: Capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights (e.g., 25-50 lbs) as needed.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, focused, and demonstrates a strong commitment to quality and safety.
