What You'll Need

  • Diploma or GED (trade creds = bonus points)
  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience and / or training
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Steel-toes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Operate fluid bed granulators, blenders (Hobart, ribbon, twin-shell), Fitzmills, roller compactors, oscillators, and related equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust process controls, including temperatures, airflow, spray rates, dust collection, and nozzle calibration.
  • Verify and load raw materials per batch records; complete required two-person sign-offs.
  • Perform particle sizing, milling, sieving, and metal detection as needed.
  • Weigh final blends and record yields; ensure accurate batch documentation.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control on batch record sign-offs and any cGMP issues.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas per SOPs.
