Sterile Processing Technician at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Evening shifts (3pm - 11:30pm) with rotating weekends.

Under supervision this position is responsible for decontaminating, operationally checking, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing reusable surgical/clinical instrumentation and implants throughout the hospital. Operates steam (autoclave), H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) sterilizers, sonic equipment, automated washers and heat sealers; store, date, rotate and distribute reusable surgical/clinical instrumentation.
